Refund policy

1. Order Cancellation

  • You may cancel your order free of charge within 3 days of placing it. Contact us via Instagram (@mndr.shop) or email with your order number.
  • After the 3-day window, or once your order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled — but you may still return it under the conditions in Section 2 below.

2. Returns Within 14 Days

You may return your camera within 14 days of receiving your order under the following conditions:

A. Camera unused, film not installed

If the camera is unused and the film has not been installed:

  • You are eligible for a refund of the product price.
  • A fee of EGP 350 will be deducted from your refund to cover shipping and handling.
  • Any damage found on the product upon inspection (scratches, cracks, missing parts, damaged packaging affecting resale) will be assessed and deducted from the refund amount.

B. Film installed or used

If the film has been installed or used, you can still return the camera within 14 days:

  • A fee of EGP 799 will be deducted for the film (installed film cannot be resold).
  • The EGP 350 shipping and handling fee also applies.
  • Any damage found on the camera will be assessed and deducted as described above.

Return conditions (both cases)

  • The camera must be returned with all original contents and packaging (box, manual, strap, and any included accessories).
  • Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item, using the same payment method used at purchase.
  • To start a return, contact us with your order number and photos of the product.

3. Manufacturing Defects — 3-Month Warranty

Your camera is covered against technical manufacturing problems for 3 months from the date of delivery.

  • If your camera has a confirmed manufacturing defect (e.g., shutter failure, winding mechanism fault, light leaks caused by a production flaw), you are entitled to a return and full refund, or a replacement if you prefer.
  • No shipping or handling fees apply to confirmed manufacturing defects — we cover the return shipping.
  • To make a warranty claim, contact us with your order number, a description of the problem, and photos or a short video showing the issue.

4. What Is Not Covered

We are not responsible for problems resulting from misuse of the camera, including but not limited to:

Physical damage from drops, impacts, pressure, or crushing

Water or liquid damage

Sand, dust, or debris inside the camera from improper handling

Damage caused by forcing the winding wheel, shutter, or film door

Incorrect film loading or attempts to open the camera mid-roll

Unauthorized repairs, disassembly, or modifications

Normal cosmetic wear from use

Issues caused by misuse are not eligible for return, refund, or warranty replacement.

5. Damaged on Arrival

If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the product and packaging. Confirmed delivery damage will be replaced or refunded in full at no cost to you.

6. Non-Returnable Items

  • Film rolls (sold separately) — non-returnable once the seal is opened, for quality reasons.
  • Special edition and limited-run products — returnable under the same 14-day conditions unless marked otherwise on the product page.
